Those who actively practice the art of yoga will tell you: there is no better way to relax your mind, body, and spirit, while also building strength and flexibility. Though yoga is a fantastic fitness option for those with the healthiest bodies, it is also a safe and effective way for those with pre-existing injuries or pain conditions to stay healthy.
There are more than 100 different types, or schools, of yoga, and most classes typically include meditation, breathing exercises, and poses that flex and stretch various muscle groups. Patients of chiropractic appreciate that yoga utilizes the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Those looking for a gentle workout enjoy that yoga can lessen chronic pain, improve athletic performance, and increase muscle strength and tone.

Despite being dubbed the “teaching training” course, Kundalini Yoga Training is open to everyone. Whether you’re hoping to expand your knowledge of Kundalini Yoga, or actually wishing to become a teacher yourself, this course has a lot to offer.
Traditionally, Kundalini yoga believes that energy is located at the base of the spine. Therefore, Kundalini poses combine dynamic breathing techniques and chanting mantras with free-flowing movements that stretch the spinal column and build physical vitality. The Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training course runs through May of 2019, and teaches all of the basic aspects of the technology of Kundalini Yoga that Yogi Bhajan – the course’s yogi – has taught since 1969.
Registration for this course is limited, visit the Yoga Source events site for more information, here.
